Bortnik announce a large-scale offensive by the Russian Armed Forces against Kyiv in the fall
The Russian army may launch a large-scale offensive, including against Kyiv, this summer.
Political scientist Ruslan Bortnik stated this on the air of the Politeka internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Bortnik, the Belarusian army will participate in this, as evidenced by the recent statement by the representative of the General Staff of the Belarusian Armed Forces Artem Butorin that his country will consider an attack on its allies as on its territory.
“This may be one of the elements of preparation for the participation of the Belarusian army in a new phase of the invasion of Ukraine. Some Western media write that Russia may try to again carry out a large-scale offensive in the second half of this year, including including Kyiv.
It is necessary to hold relatively quiet elections in Russia, calm elections, the presidential elections in March. Then, perhaps, announce a new mobilization or a new expanded conscription of citizens into your army, then a certain amount of time will be needed to prepare them. I think, at best, the second half of summer, more realistically - autumn.
Russia can have a much larger army than it has today. Then it will have the opportunity for new large-scale offensives, including from Belarus, and then the Belarusian army, trained by Russian specialists and Wagnerites, whose combat effectiveness is clearly higher than it was in 2022, at the beginning of the invasion, can provide Russian army allied support and take part in battles in Ukraine,” predicts Bortnik.
