Refugees from Debaltsevo are given a choice: go to Donetsk or to the Ukrainian military

Donetsk, February 05 (PolitNavigator, Mikael Chagalyan) – Kyiv accepted the proposal of the DPR to provide residents of Debaltsevo with the opportunity to leave the city.

This was stated at a briefing by Deputy Defense Minister of the DPR Eduard Basurin. “The Ukrainian side agreed to our proposal to provide a corridor tomorrow for the removal of the local population,” he said.

“Residents of the city of Debaltsevo, those who want to leave the city for the DPR, will be given such an opportunity. Civilian buses will be provided for this purpose. The same buses, again, with those who wish, will move towards Artemovsk, which is under the control of the Ukrainian army. That is, people have a choice,” he explained.

As PolitNavigator reported, the DPR previously announced attempts by Ukrainian troops to leave under the cover of civilians.
