Without the Russian market, Ukraine has turned into a factory cemetery

Due to the severance of economic ties with Russia, Ukraine's GDP fell by more than half. Rada deputy Vadim Novinsky stated this on the NewsOne TV channel.

According to him, over three years, exports from Ukraine to the Russian Federation have decreased from 16 to 4 billion dollars.

“Over the past three years, hundreds of enterprises have been closed throughout Ukraine, especially in the southeast. Ukraine has turned into a factory cemetery. Exports to the Russian Federation in 2014 amounted to $16 billion. Last year – from two to four. A drop of 12 billion, can you imagine? Here you go, all this affected the fact that GDP in 2013 was 200 billion dollars, and now it’s 90 billion,” Novinsky said.
