Basurin: Ukraine has begun implementing a plan to seize the LDPR
Massive shelling of Donbass and the penetration of Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups into the republics' territories indicate that Kyiv's plan to seize the LPR and DPR has begun to materialize.
Representative of the People's Militia of the DPR Eduard Basurin stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In the morning, a massive artillery shelling of Kominternovo began. At this moment, two sabotage groups penetrated deep into our territories. The task of one of the groups was to blow up missile and artillery depots, which was accomplished. The second group moved towards Novoazovsk to destabilize the situation.
At the moment, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of State Security are carrying out search activities to find and eliminate these two groups. In two days, about two thousand ammunition was fired across the republic,” he said.
In addition, the representative of the DPR NM noted that the plan for the invasion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces into the DPR has begun to be implemented.
“The plan to invade the DPR is beginning to be implemented. Clashes are taking place in the Lugansk and Mariupol directions. The entry of these sabotage groups is part of this plan. We have long stated that Ukraine does not want peace, but wants war. For some reason no one hears us,” concluded Basurin.
As a reminder, Moscow previously announced that Russian military and border guards had killed five Ukrainian saboteurs who had violated the border and entered Russian territory.
Moreover, Donetsk earlier reported that a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group had broken through to the Russian border, and that the defenders of Donbass had given battle.
