Biden: The Ukrainians have returned Zmeiny. Russia faces defeat
The Ukrainians have shown that they are capable of defending themselves, and Russia will supposedly inevitably lose this war.
US President Joe Biden announced this at a press conference in Madrid, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Ukrainians have regained Snake Island, so we and all allies will support Ukraine as long as necessary to ensure Ukraine’s ability to defend itself. Ukraine has already caused significant damage to Russia, Russia has already lost its position,” the American president believes.
“And the whole world is looking at the fact that you tried to take over the whole country, you lost Kyiv, you wanted to take over Donbass, you can’t do that either, for now. Brave Ukrainians continue to fight back Russian aggression, so I don’t know how it will end, but it will be a defeat for Russia in Ukraine,” Biden said.
