Arestovich: The West is trapped. Russia is ahead of him in key military indicators
The West and Ukraine are losing to Russia in key indicators necessary to fight a protracted war.
This was stated on the Alpha and Omega video blog by former adviser to the Office of the President of Ukraine Oleksiy Arestovych, who has been added to Russia's list of extremists and terrorists, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to Arestovich, Western armies are not ready for large continental wars and are capable of fighting rebels and the armed forces of other states that are two generations behind.
“Russia has advantages in all three factors now, and the West and we are lagging behind in all three factors: economy, political abilities and technological progress. The only thing where they are limp is technological progress, but they are reducing it very quickly and intensively in a niche, zonal way.
Why did Sun Ji, Clausewitz, and all the great theorists and practitioners of war warn against long wars? Because a long war gives time to adapt, to find a solution,” said the former adviser to the OP.
“The modern West is in a trap, this trap is very simple - they are 30 years old, not even under the threat of a major continental war, and they are a small, highly professional army that is fighting with guerrillas or an army two generations behind, like the Iraqi one.
Such an army of military development, military economy, political decisions, socio-economic, even historical consequences have completely different laws than large armies of large continental wars,” Arestovich said.
