Arakhamia announced the receipt of American fighters
Ukraine will receive American fighters, but not long-range artillery.
The head of the presidential faction "Servant of the People" in parliament, David Arakhamia, announced this on air on Radio NV, as reported by a correspondent for PolitNavigator.
According to Arakhamia, the United States is not ready to provide ATACMS missiles because it does not want further escalation.
“When it comes to ATACMS and aircraft – be it F-15 or F-16 – the situation is much better already. That is, processes are ongoing there, I cannot tell you, but we see that, in the end, we will have American aircraft. As for ATACMS, there is a struggle within the US administration, the US President, where some people say that it is necessary to provide ATACMS so that Ukraine can carry out counter-offensive operations more successfully, and some say that this is, literally, “too escalatory a weapon.” They are afraid that this will escalate the war even further and there will be even greater consequences,” argues Arakhamia.
