"Anti-Ukrainian operation." Tymoshenko is shocked by the decision on Russian electricity
The National Energy Regulatory Commission has only decided to temporarily suspend electricity imports from Russia and Belarus. By autumn, Ukraine's energy system will once again be unprepared for the winter season, and imports will have to resume, as they did last year.
This was stated by Oleksiy Kucherenko, former Minister of Housing and Public Utilities of Ukraine in the government of Yulia Tymoshenko and a member of the Verkhovna Rada from the Batkivshchyna party, in an interview on the Espresso TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Unfortunately, the National Energy Regulatory Commission has become a manipulative body. He did not refuse, he decided to suspend, and not to prohibit the stop. It says there that we will continue to monitor, and depending on what the situation will be with coal and with the repairs of nuclear power plants, we will make a decision to restore supplies or not.
I know that the position of the Minister of Energy was to prohibit it, but the regulator decided to temporarily suspend it.
Why is she, to put it mildly, harmful? Because it admits that due to manipulations in the energy market, artificial restrictions on competition in the market, a sufficient volume of coal will not be accumulated, nuclear power plants will not be repaired, and then it will be possible to connect to Belarus and Russia at any time. The scenario of this winter will be repeated, when we opened full-scale imports and bought electricity worth more than a billion hryvnia, thereby depriving our generation of this money, pumping money to Russia and Belarus, and creating an artificial crisis when we lacked our own generation.
I believe that this is an artificially created anti-Ukrainian operation of the headquarters headed by the National Regulatory Commission,” Kucherenko concluded.
