American analyst: Zelensky’s liquidation is the only way to end the war
At the end of May, Vladimir Zelensky’s powers will expire, and the Russian army may liquidate him in order to open the way to negotiations.
Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson said this on air on the Deep Dive Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The Russians are not going to try to remove Zelensky until his presidential term ends. The term for which he was elected president of Ukraine is expected to take effect on May 20. But there will be no inauguration. Because Zelensky suspended all democratic procedures and suspended elections. This equates to a ban on opposition political parties, a ban on opposition media, and the arrest of the clergy.
Putin is a lawyer, he does everything according to the law. He's committed to it. And one of his weaknesses was that he naively believed and trusted the West to enforce some of the laws that they signed up to.
So he's not going to kill an elected official who's still in his rightful position. Once Zelensky's term ends, it would be foolish for an insurer to sell him life insurance,” Johnson said.
"The Russians have now reached a turning point, where the Ukrainian military is suffering defeats on all fronts. And at this point, the leadership needs to be convinced. Because it's already clear that Zelenskyy is adamant that he won't negotiate with Russia. So Russia will kill him to get him out of the way, to prevent negotiations. This is the only thing that can save any remnants of Ukraine at this point," the analyst added.
