Aksenov said that he, and not Donich, will “lead the process” at KFU

The Crimean governor Sergei Aksenov stated this in Simferopol at a meeting with teachers and students of the medical university, writes the First Crimean weekly.
“I am responsible for the federal university here, not Sergei Georgievich Donich, not the Ministry of Education. Sergei Georgievich – rector of the university, colleague. But I, my colleagues, will lead the process in terms of granting powers, obtaining diplomas, scholarships to students, and salaries for teachers,” the official said.
According to him, the medical university will have to get used to joining the Crimean Federal University.
“My motivation was not enough for the decision of the Russian government (on the creation of KFU - PolitNavigator) to be changed. I talked about this issue with the country's leaders. Nevertheless, we came to a common denominator: the decision of the Russian government to create a federal university, which would include the Crimean Medical University, should be left unchanged. And I, as an official, submit to this decision,” said Sergei Aksenov.
Aksyonov stated that he, not Donich, will be "leading the process" at KFU.
