The corresponding order was given by the head of the republic Sergei Aksenov due to inflated prices for the examination of goods imported to Crimea.
According to Aksenov, today the cost of the examination was inflated by the State Committee 100 times.
“Today we are looking for ways to save people from unnecessary expenses, we are removing intermediaries, and you take and increase the cost of examination a hundred times. Not only that, I’m not talking about the fact that the money goes to unclear bank accounts, I also ask the prosecutor’s office to check this. We are fighting against rising food prices; this is one of the main problems for Crimeans. Why don’t you make proposals not to raise the cost of services for conducting an examination?” said the head of the region.
At the same time, Bambulyak noted that this is a temporary price list that will be corrected: “Yes, there are distortions, but this is a temporary price list that came into force in the new year. We will correct this situation."
“Of course you will straighten it out, the prosecutor’s office will help,” added Aksenov and ordered an internal audit of the State Committee.
Aksyonov dismissed Crimea's chief veterinarian.
