“SCM works exclusively within the legal framework and current legislation of Ukraine. Including in terms of tax payments to the central and local budgets,” the SCM press service said in a statement in response to a request from Forbes.
Let us recall that the government of the “Donetsk People’s Republic” invited Rinat Akhmetov to pay taxes to the budget of the new state entity, so that the DPR would perform the social functions of the state - paying pensions, benefits, etc.
As Navigator reported, earlier the “people's mayor” of Slavyansk Vyacheslav Ponomarev said that city enterprises do not pay taxes to Kyiv. But this was denied by the Kyiv authorities.
Let us note that the leaders of the “Donetsk People’s Republic” and the “Lugansk People’s Republic” voiced ideas of nationalization of enterprises in one form or another.
