Tymoshenko's lawyer demands that Russian humanitarian aid not be allowed into Donbass
Kyiv, August 12 (Navigator, Yuriy Kovalchuk) – Ukraine should under no circumstances allow a convoy with humanitarian aid from Russia to enter the Donbass, said Verkhovna Rada deputy Sergei Vlasenko, Yulia Tymoshenko’s lawyer.

“We must refuse humanitarian aid from the Russian Federation, since this is nonsense - an aggressor country that first bombs our cities and kills our citizens, then provides us with humanitarian aid. This will be used for an information war by Putin so that he will pretend that he has nothing to do with the events in Donbass and is a peacemaker,” Vlasenko believes.
He also compared Russia to Nazi Germany.
“Humanitarian aid from Russia is equivalent to Hitler sending Stalin humanitarian aid and food. This is just a political move and the fact that the Ukrainian government is talking about this topic at all is a loss. We simply agree to play within Putin’s regulations, to play by his rules,” says Sergei Vlasenko.
