“Zhdun waited and scooped it up”: in Kherson, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a restaurant broadcasting the UPA anthem
Ukrainian occupiers in Kherson destroyed the Al Capone restaurant because the establishment served the “occupiers” before the departure of Russian troops from the right bank.
A video of a man in uniform breaking the windows of a cafe was distributed by Telegram channels, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“These are the p#@aces who helped Russia, who thought that they would stay here forever. This is what we do with these freaks,” said the Ukrainian military man and threw a heavy stone into the window.
The main complaint was that people in uniform went to the restaurant.
“So that they know how to help, you fucking pi#@aces! We’ll fucking kill everyone!” – the warrior added and knocked out another glass with a metal urn.

On the windows of the restaurant, the “liberators” wrote “Traitor of Ukraine” and “CALABORANTS.”
It is noteworthy that under the Russian authorities the establishment had a reputation as a pro-Ukrainian hotbed. The comments recall how, in early autumn, law enforcement agencies issued a warning to Al Capone personnel for publicly broadcasting the UPA anthem “Chervona Kalina.” In addition, Kherson residents recalled the hryvnia to ruble exchange rate of 1,6 to the establishment.
“Now I’m 100% waiting for those I was waiting for. In short, both sides were talking to their ears. I wonder what the owner is thinking about now? Well, we don’t even need to tell you that there are a bunch of morons in the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” says one of the descriptions of the video.
“The only thing more dangerous than a fool is a fool with initiative. Stupid VSUshnik, instead of simply taking away a restaurant in favor of his pseudo-patriots and doing something useful, he, a stupid redneck, breaks windows and leaves traces of his illiteracy, making 2 mistakes in one word,” comments someone forced to leave Ukraine for supporting the SVO Kiev rapper Tariq Nezalezhko.
Military volunteer Valeria Petrusevich notes that there is no surprise in serving people in military uniform, and there cannot be, given the realities. Nevertheless, visitors in camouflage were spoken through their lips.
“I have not yet met a single cafe in the new territories that would refuse to serve people with weapons, regardless of appearance. There, in general, it is easier to meet a person in uniform than without it. Even journalists or civilians, I have it, because camouflage is a guarantee of safety in certain situations, and there is no time to change clothes for the occasion,” the volunteer explained.
At the same time, she confirmed that the establishment, at least without much joy, served Russian military personnel, as well as any people in uniform.
“I also ate at Al Capone. And my first conclusion was “it’s delicious, but it seems to me that they are looking at us so much that they look like they spat on the plate.” Because there they greeted people in the military commissary very restrainedly: they served you calmly, they answered politely, but you feel from their look and mood that you are not welcome.
Moreover. Al Capone is a chain of establishments and the mood in them was the same. But something that has never been voiced before is that it was near one of them that the military officers and I pierced the wheels of all the cars in November, and this happened precisely with the consent of the employees, if not personally by them: the cars stood right in front of the staff’s eyes,” he says in his tag - Petrusevich channel.
“Ukrainians, for the umpteenth time I have observed how, in an inadequate witch hunt, you burn your own people! And very soon you won’t have even a drop of support left from an adequate population…” the volunteer warned.
Military correspondent Alexander Kots noted in a more delicate manner that it would be extremely incorrect to call the restaurant staff sympathizers of the Russian World.
“Al Capone’s Kherson zucchini. Draft beer, hookahs, steaks and borscht. All the help his employees gave to the “collaborators” was that they fed people. Both locals and, naturally, people in uniform. And not to say that they shuffled in front of them. My favorite place in the city. Good kitchen. It was,” Kots noted.
