Zelensky demonstrated low efficiency
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has never put forward real proposals to resolve the conflict in Donbass.
Deputy head of the Ukrainian Institute of Policy Analysis and Management Kirill Molchanov stated this in an interview with Moskovsky Komsomolets, assessing the 100 days of Zelensky’s presidency.

“Society has not heard any new proposals for Donbass. If the president does not want to conduct a direct dialogue with Donetsk and Lugansk, then what alternative is there? For now, Zelensky continues to follow Poroshenko’s rhetoric. Maybe something will change after the meeting in the Normandy format, but it’s not a fact,” the political scientist said.
He noted that a new convocation of parliament will begin work in the coming week and a government will be formed.
“Before September 15, we will be shown the draft budget for 2020, and then it will become completely clear in which direction Zelensky is going to move Ukraine. So far the president is demonstrating little effectiveness,” Molchanov concluded.
As PolitNavigator reported, Zelenskyy and his entourage do not intend to grant Donbas special status, as stipulated by Kyiv's commitments under the Minsk agreements, which were enshrined in a unanimous UN Security Council resolution.
