Zelensky remains under arrest in Moscow
The Moscow City Court left under arrest Pavel Zelensky, the operator of the foundation of criminal blogger Alexei Navalny.
Navalny's headquarters reported this on its social media, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The court dismissed the appeal against the arrest and refused to include 128 sureties for Zelensky.
Zelensky was arrested on January 15. Next week, investigators are expected to file a motion in court to extend his arrest.
The operator is accused of calls for extremist activity (Part 2 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) for two tweets calling for reprisals against the authorities after the suicide of Nizhny Novgorod journalist Irina Slavina in October 2020.
