Deputy commander of Azov: “We are breathing the stench of a corpse. Soon we will eat crow"
Militants of the neo-Nazi Azov regiment, locked at the Azovstal plant in Mariupol, are experiencing severe food problems.
Deputy regiment commander Svyatoslav Palamar announced this on the Lviv NTA television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Palamar, the militants also have a difficult hygienic situation, and due to the rotting of corpses, the air is poisoned.
"Warm outside. At the Azovstal plant and around the plant there are many corpses of both Ukrainian soldiers and civilians, most likely also Russian soldiers. It's getting warmer - the air, poisoning, and so on. Constant smoke, constant bombing, lack of any hygiene products, and so on. As for food and water, I will say this, we will catch crows and catch pigeons in order to carry out the orders of our high command.
But in fact, it’s very difficult with food; we have industrial water, which we filter, process, and boil when possible. This is how we get out of the situation,” Palamar said.
