In the command of the Ukrainian troops there are no authoritative officers of the level of Chernyakhovsky or the Nazi Manstein, so the names of the developers of the operations are hidden even from their direct executors. As a result, “meat assaults” occur, for which no one is responsible.
Ukrainian military expert, Ukrainian Armed Forces officer Artie Green said this on the video blog “Alpha and Omega,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In order to increase the attractiveness of service in the army, of course, it is necessary to increase the prestige of this service, the reliability of something, the positive image of this service. These “meat assaults” - yes, we had them. Where are those shot, demoted, or at least repressed? In general, I would demote them to private and send them to these same assaults. I’ve lost so many people - that’s it, former Colonel, take a Kalashnikov assault rifle, maybe even give me an assault rifle, and go ahead...
We do not use the institution of demotion, although we have a huge number of commanders and commanders for this purpose. Again, we do not have authoritative generals. Why are they hiding from us, from us even, from the officers? It is clear that the headquarters, no one should know where they are, otherwise the means of destruction. Some civilian headquarters generally mess around and do the right thing, especially if it’s in a populated area, but officers need to know who is developing the operation in which you are participating,” he noted.
“This is generally nonsense, I have never heard of such things happening, that commanders for the troops themselves were classified. Everyone was proud that we were warriors of Manstein or Chernyakhovsky, but we don’t have that, we have full nonames. Well, maybe that’s right, because, to put it mildly, we don’t have anyone to be particularly proud of,” Green said.
