Yarosh now swears that he is not a radical and therefore broke with the Right Sector
Verkhovna Rada deputy, ex-head of the Right Sector Dmitry Yarosh, who now heads an organization called Yarosh’s State Initiative, said in an interview with Ukrayinska Pravda that he has never been a radical and stands for a “peaceful revolution.”

The publication asked why the founder of the Right Sector left the organization.
“Because of ideological differences. “After all, I have never been a radical,” says Yarosh. – Yes, I am, I was and I will be a revolutionary. But not a radical.”
He called his former comrades in the PS “young and hot guys who have their own vision” and said that he did not want to stop them from engaging in “revolution and politics.” At the same time, Yarosh called war the main task of his movement.
“The revolution is not complete. We started the process in 2013 on the Maidan, but the ideas we stood for have not yet been implemented. However, in conditions of confrontation with an external enemy, it is desirable to complete the revolution peacefully. Revolutionary change is not necessarily “bang, bang, napalm.” This is a replacement of the system of power, the people in power and the structure of power.”
“So you are for a revolution exclusively through peaceful means?” the UP clarified.
“This would be very, very desirable, because violence is an extreme form of struggle. People who shed their own and enemy blood are aware of this. And those who only read books and then shout “Forward to the barricades!”, as a rule, do not then go to those barricades, but continue to talk with inspiration about the revolution.”
At the same time, Yarosh says that he will not stop his former comrades if they storm the presidential administration.
“I won’t stop. There are smart guys there, and if they go to storm the presidential administration, then, perhaps, they will have grounds for this,” Yarosh emphasized, clarifying that his units are “absolutely controlled” and can advance to Kyiv only by order.
