Yatsenyuk wants to reduce teachers' salaries to $100 per month (VIDEO)
Kyiv, December 01 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – The government of Arseniy Yatsenyuk is trying to deprive Kyiv teachers of all bonuses, leaving them with only a bare salary - 1800 hryvnia (just over $100).
The chairman of the Kyiv city organization of Trade Unions of Education and Science Workers of Ukraine, Alexander Yatsun, spoke about this at a press conference in Kiev, reporting on the bill developed by the Ministry of Finance on stabilizing the financial and economic system of Ukraine.

The trade union leader said that the salary of a Kyiv teacher includes a number of bonuses from the salary: for experience - 30 percent, for class management - 25, for checking notebooks - 20, for managing an office - 13, for the prestige of educational work - 20 and plus the Kiev municipal surcharge – 20 percent.
“Teachers end up with a bare salary of 1800 hryvnia “dirty,” - Alexander Yatsun outlined the prospects for teachers in the capital if parliament passes a law based on the submitted government document. – So far, this bill does not have a number, and it has not reached the Verkhovna Rada for consideration. But there is a great danger that it will be adopted during 2014. Moreover, this is the third draconian bill submitted by the Ministry of Finance.”
