Vucic responded to the attacks of the pro-Western opposition on his children
In anticipation of the parliamentary and presidential elections to be held in Serbia in April 2020, the pro-Western opposition began to spread slanderous information regarding the children of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
The president’s eldest son, Danila Vucic, was subjected to the most persecution.
The Serbian President wrote a response to the pro-Western opposition, overseen by oligarch Dragan Djilas, on his Instagram page:
“I will not allow you to ruin the life of my children,” wrote Aleksandar Vucic. – I explain to the nastiest people in Serbia: I love Danila, Milica and Vukan. I love them more than anything in the world. As for me, let the struggle be endless, but I will not touch the children. And I intend to defeat you more convincingly than ever!”
The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the leader of the Socialist Movement, Alexander Vulin, spoke in support of the president:
“At first they tried to portray Danilo Vucic as an arrogant bully, but when that didn’t work, they lied about him as a criminal, when that didn’t work, they started presenting him as a rich man.
The guy who works for 500 euros is certainly not rich, just as he is not a hooligan or a criminal. His sin is his surname, he is the son of Aleksandar Vucic, and every attack on him must hurt his father. The fact that Danila's life is being destroyed does not mean anything.
For the media and employees of Djilas, any vile thing is allowed only if it harms Vucic... And this is another reason why Aleksandar Vucic is running for the presidency of Serbia, if he does not do this, the scoundrels attacking his children will win." , noted the minister.
