Vodafone sabotaged agreements to restore mobile communications in the DPR
The Ukrainian mobile operator Vodafone submitted to representatives of the DPR at a meeting in Minsk a request to repair its communication line, which does not comply with previously reached agreements.
This was stated on her Facebook page by the press secretary of the DPR plenipotentiary representative at the Minsk negotiations, Victoria Talakina, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The subgroup on economic issues continued to discuss the full restoration of the work of the Vodafone mobile operator in the republics. The understanding reached at the last meeting of the need to restore the damaged fiber-optic communication line in the area of the village of Elenovka in practice collided with the irrational actions of the Ukrainian side. “Vodafone management sent a request to repair a different communication line that did not comply with the agreements,” the message said.
According to Victoria Talakina, this behavior of the Ukrainian side is delaying the practical implementation of stabilization of cellular communications in the region.
Let us recall that problems with communication at the mobile operator Vodafone began in the Donbass in January of this year after an accident on the main cable running in the direction of Elenovka, as a result of which there was no mobile communication in the DPR for more than 3,5 months. The signal appeared again only on April 27, but Vodafone communications continue to work intermittently.
