Not real people, but Facebook accounts are running for the Verkhovna Rada (VIDEO)
Kyiv, October 24 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – The lists of Ukrainian parties in the upcoming elections contain accounts from social networks.
Director of the Institute of Global Strategies Vadim Karasev said this at a press conference in Kyiv, also noting that a battle between old and new predators is not excluded in the new Verkhovna Rada.

"They'll all meet in parliament, and I wonder: who'll eat whom?" the political scientist wonders. "Young new predators, Maidan activists, heroes of the front and Facebook? Some lists don't include real people, but rather accounts. One battalion commander fought more against Facebook than on the front ( apparently referring to Donbass Battalion commander Semyon Semenchenko, an active Facebook user who was among the top five in the Samopomich party – ed. ). This is an interesting point. The role of Facebook and Facebook hysteria in these elections was, if not decisive, then quite significant.
The director of the Institute of Global Strategies predicts that the new parliament will become a ring in which invisible devouring of each other will take place.
“Either the young will devour the old, or the old will feed and tame the young, using the experience of behind-the-scenes parliamentary politics, in which they have become skilled over the past few decades,” believes Vadim Karasev.
