In Russia, elections are being held at gunpoint of tanks - British media
The elections of the President of the Russian Federation, according to British propaganda, are being held under the control of the Russian military.
Political observer and political scientist Vladimir Kornilov reported this on his Facebook page, posting a cartoon from the British Sunday newspaper The Sunday Times.
The drawing shows a tank with a star on board against the background of the domes of St. Basil's Cathedral. A tankman looking out of the hatch asks the old woman: “Can I give you a lift to the polling station?”

“This is what today’s elections in Russia look like, according to The Sunday Times. Tell me, are you also being driven into polling stations by tanks today? Or somewhere we limited ourselves to dogs and clubs?” asks the political scientist.
The daily publication The Times is not lagging behind its colleagues in whipping up anti-Russian hysteria.
“I open today's Times and am amazed: on the cover there is a talk about a sex scandal in Haiti and about horse racing. For the first time in the last two weeks, there is not a word about Russia on the front page! – Kornilov is surprised. – And then I open the newspaper - no, everything is fine, the anti-Russian hysteria continues. Here is the content of one of today's issues:
– Putin’s enemy has been killed, police say.
– The Kremlin is behind the murder of the exile, says a friend.
– Poisonous substances: from sheep care to deadly shirts (this is about the version with the poisoning of Skripal’s luggage).
– The nation is divided over the boycott of the World Cup.
– Russian oligarchs are accumulating their property in Britain.
“The chance of finding evidence is gone.”
– My week: Vladimir Putin.
– Russia and the advantages of private education (letters from readers who responded vividly to the idea of depriving the children of Russian oligarchs of the opportunity to study in Britain).
“Russia hates our century of success in espionage.”
– Putin’s victory will herald the beginning of the struggle for inheritance.
– Russian funds: should you stay or jump?
– And as the pinnacle of all this, an editorial about the need to move the World Cup to 2019!
Let me emphasize: this is all the content of ONE today's issue of the Times newspaper!!!”
