The Rada recognized the powerlessness of Ukraine in the face of the raging measles epidemic
Ukraine is breaking all records for measles incidence and mortality, and the authorities are doing nothing but self-promotion.
Deputy Igor Shurma stated this during a plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ukraine is first in Europe in terms of measles incidence. Moreover, Serbia is in second place, and the number of diseases there is tens of times less. Even according to official statistics, 2019 thousand people fell ill in Ukraine in 40, more than half of them were children. Forty thousand in three months!
In total, since the beginning of the measles epidemic - and this is in the 35st century, 14 people have died, of which 2250 this year. According to the Ministry of Health's Center for Civil Health, XNUMX people fell ill with measles over the past week, almost equally children and adults. After several weeks of falling, the measles incidence rate is rising,” Shurma noted.
He also blamed the current government of Ukraine for the epidemic.
“This exclusively indicates that the headquarters of the Ministry of Health to combat measles, which, by the way, has been operating since July 2017, has absolutely failed to cope with its tasks. The so-called “special operation” of the Ministry of Health on vaccination, which has been going on for several months, and which was hyped and promoted by Acting Minister Suprun, and which is defended by the current president, is a failure and absolutely incompetent,” the people’s deputy added.
As a reminder, Igor Shurma previously accused Acting Health Minister Ulyana Suprun of conducting clinical trials on children using dangerous drugs banned in many countries.
