The Rada is hysterical over the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman ordered an investigation into the explosion of a mortar at a training ground in the Rivne region, as a result of which 12 Ukrainian servicemen were killed and injured.
He made this statement during the morning meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The incident , as PolitNavigator reported, occurred around 6 a.m. during brigade tactical exercises with live fire at a training ground in the Rivne region.
The Ukrainian Prime Minister was asked a question by Deputy Taras Pastukh, who noted that the losses were suffered in the rear, and not on the demarcation line of the warring parties in the Donbass.
“Our guys are dying at the training grounds from the weapons for which we pay money from the state budget, Ukrainian weapons. There is no point in raising the question to the ministry anymore, because it is not the ministry that decides where to buy and from whom to buy. You and I have raised the issue more than once regarding the Ukroboronprom concern, where neither the previous nor your government can add 2 members to the supervisory board so that the concern does not work for the benefit of the country. When will you be able to perform the function of government? Take control of these events that are taking place in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and in relation to the investigation,” said Pastukh.
Groysman sympathized with the families of the victims and answered the question asked by the deputy.
“Of course, an investigation will be carried out and there will be results. By the way, I think we need to look at the past such case and the results of the investigation. I recorded this for myself. As for control, you are right. I’m working on this now, and in the near future I will make proposals,” the head of the Ukrainian government promised.
