This was reported by the local publication “Mariupol News”.
The publication reported that the wall painting “Spirit of the Times,” located near the chess club building, caused a negative reaction among townspeople, as a result of which it “was repeatedly defaced and restored again.”
The publication notes that paint is constantly poured over images of UPA militants and the Azov regiment. The panel had been in a damaged state since October last year, when unknown assailants once again splashed paint on it.
