Krasny Liman, June 04 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The active phase of the ATO is underway in Krasny Liman: the city is being “cleared” of militias.

“The active phase of the ATO continues, Krasny Liman is being cleared, fighting continues in the Slavyansk area,” said press officer of the ATO headquarters Vladislav Seleznev. According to him, during the last 45 hours of the ATO, two Ukrainian servicemen were killed and XNUMX were wounded.
According to the press service of the Donetsk Railway, social and infrastructure facilities were significantly damaged. The greatest damage was caused to the railway hospital: the buildings of the intensive care unit, clinic, and surgical department were damaged, the roof and walls were destroyed, windows and doors were broken, the laboratory, operating rooms, medical equipment and equipment were seriously damaged.
Vasily Shistka, a surgeon at the Krasny Liman station hospital, received a severe shrapnel wound to the head and died; three hospital patients were injured. In addition, as a result of air attack, the administrative and utility buildings of the Krasny Liman track machine station, platforms and the station's railway track were damaged. Due to this, seven trains have been cancelled.
Local residents report that around noon, armored personnel carriers were spotted on the road from Chapaevo; a detachment of the National Guard entered the city. At the same time, the flag of the Donetsk Republic flies over the executive committee of Krasny Liman.
“At 13:11, military equipment passed through Krasny Liman, Zeleny Klin, 7 armored personnel carriers, 6 trucks and two anti-aircraft guns. The infantry, no more than 40 people, entered the forest and were moving towards Drobyshey, but could have changed direction,” write social media users.
“They are starting to check documents, looking for people with non-Liman registration and militia members,” others report.
“We wanted to come up and ask, I live on Gagarin Ave., they are standing near the orbit, they didn’t let me in, they showed me that they would come back... They shoot into the air at the intersection near school 4, this is a warning to cars that are driving towards Lesovichok, so that they would turn around... People , on our street, no one just touches anyone,” write residents of Krasny Liman.
“Mr. Lesnoy is surrounded, they don’t let anyone out or in, they shoot in the air and return them home,” they say.
There is conflicting information about the state of affairs in the city. Some users of social networks say that the city is relatively calm: transport does not go only in the southern part, where the militia are located, shops operate through one.
As Navigator reported, yesterday the DPR leadership, as well as the ATO headquarters, announced that the security forces had taken control of Krasny Liman. The government of the “Donetsk Republic” noted that the militias moved to the second line of defense.
