In Kyiv, a showdown over land ended with shooting at an SBU officer
In Kyiv, on Vishnyakovskaya Street, an SBU officer who worked as part of a commission on one of the criminal cases was wounded.
The press service of the Kyiv prosecutor's office reported this, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The incident occurred in a parking lot, where a conflict arose between representatives of the company and law enforcement officers.
“Representatives of the commission, which included an employee of the State Audit Service, KP Kievparktransservice, as well as an employee of the SBU, arrived at the specified parking lot in order to carry out a control measurement of the area allocated for parking spaces. These actions were carried out within the framework of criminal proceedings and were authorized by the court.
During this inspection, a conflict arose between a group of men who represented the interests of the owner of the parking lot and members of the commission. During the fight, the men attacked a security officer, and one of the attackers took out an object that looked like a pistol and fired at the policeman, wounding him,” the report says.
It is also clarified that three participants in the conflict were detained.
