Workers of the Ukrainian giant Yuzhmash, left without Russian orders, staged a protest at the entrance of the plant. According to employees, they have not received wages for four months, although they regularly go to work.

“There are no orders, the situation in the country is generally incomprehensible - we could have made the same hammers and chisels. But there is no work,” plant employee Vasily Goncharov said on TV channel 34.

The workers say that during this time, wage arrears have accumulated to UAH 50 million. In turn, representatives of the plant management accuse the striking workers of discrediting the enterprise.

“This situation has a negative impact, because partners look and begin to say - you are restless: we will give you money, and then we will not get anything. This is the result of these rallies,” says the head of the trade union committee, Valery Vasiliev.
