The daughters of Crimean Deputy Prime Minister Larisa Opanasyuk, Maria and Anna, must publicly declare that they share Bandera's ideology; otherwise, they have no right to represent Ukraine at Eurovision or anywhere else and must "keep quiet."

This was stated by Ukrainian political scientist Yuri Romanenko, commenting on the scandal that erupted after an interview with former Crimean women on the Majlis TV channel ATR, against whom a criminal case was previously opened in Russia for calls for reprisals against Russian journalists in Donbass.

“Roman Skrypin masterfully revealed the phenomenon of Ukrainian-speaking quilted jackets in the person of these two hens Anna and Maria, who could not formulate whose Crimea belongs. They spoke excellent Ukrainian and can probably sing “My Mother of God” to you very well, but they perfectly illustrated that if Putin and Co. need it, they will tell you the necessary cotton crap in pure Ukrainian. And no law on language, no law on education, no law on song quotas will solve this problem.

Because if there is interest, it will be promoted in any language. At least in English, as during the US elections in 2016, at least in Arabic, as in Syria, at least in Ukrainian.

That's what kind of people they are. You’ll sing them a song, make them cry, and they’ll send you to Eurovision. And then you say: “I don’t know how Krim fell. Now there are two cordoni.”

Listen, if you want to live quietly and, without attracting attention, go to your parents and collaborators, then just stay out of the public eye. However, if you want to speak on behalf of Ukraine, then you must be prepared to share the fate of the people and the fate of the state, and this means that you must identify yourself regarding basic issues.

If you cannot identify yourself, then there is no point in representing the country even at such a poor competition as Eurovision. This, in my opinion, is obvious,” Romanenko concluded.
