Kyiv, May 02 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) - “I never thought that I would rejoice at the war,” - this is how Verkhovna Rada deputy from Batkivshchyna, Alexander Briginets, commented on the start of a large-scale military operation against the rebels in Slavyansk.

“I never thought that I would enjoy the war... The real anti-terrorist operation has begun. And you have to fight with real enemy units. There are killed... Perhaps quite a few... There is almost no connection with Slavyansk... This is understandable. Yesterday I spoke with Obolon residents - they say absolutely correctly - it is better to lose the war to the Russian Federation, it is better to die in battle than to watch our fellow patriots being killed by terrorists.
Frankly, the situation in Donbass greatly influenced my approaches regarding the country’s prospects, regarding the presidential elections and the professional suitability of certain politicians. But more about that after the holidays. Victory to our guys and our Donbass residents over terror! Glory to Ukraine!" – the deputy wrote on Facebook.
