Ukrainian soldiers refused to storm Donetsk

The majority of Ukrainians demand a peaceful resolution to the conflict in Donbass. Deputy Chairman of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction in the Verkhovna Rada, Alexey Goncharenko, stated this on the air of the talk show “Freedom of Speech”.

“As far as I know, Ukrainian mothers today do not want their children to simply storm Donetsk today against the largest army in continental Europe. This is the army of the Russian Federation. They don’t want to and they’re doing the right thing,” said Goncharenko.
