Ukrainian schoolchildren built a checkpoint and burned bonfires on the highway to Donetsk
Kyiv, March 10 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – The topic of the war in Ukraine has gained such popularity that schoolchildren have seriously started building checkpoints on highways. Thus, in the village of Svetlodolinskoye, Zaporozhye region, students built an almost real checkpoint on the Melitopol-Donetsk highway, local television company TV5 reports.

The fortification was built from bags and boxes, covered with camouflage netting, and nearby children made fires and played war. According to the village mayor Pavel Peychev, this is due to the fact that the highway to Donetsk passes through the village, and children often meet with ATO military personnel.
“The road towards Donetsk passes through the territory of our village council, that is, towards the fighting. Children are like children. They saw, met, and saw off the soldiers. Now they are playing this,” Peychev said.
The authors of the story remind you that this is not the first “children’s” checkpoint in the Zaporozhye region. Thus, in the village of Varvarovka there is a fortification that is so similar to a military one that drivers often stop when passing nearby.
