Ukraine lost the civil war
Ukraine has already lost the war with the residents of Donbass, because, using all its security forces, it was not able to return the rebel republics under control.
Political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“History is written by the victors, and the victors of the vanquished will be judged. I’ll even tell you who has already lost in this war. If a state is not able to establish control over a third of one region and a third of another region within five years using all its armed forces, it means that this state has already lost its civil war, first of all.
And, secondly, I want to remind you that in accordance with international law, state power is responsible for everything that happens on its territory. Therefore, when you say that “Ukrainians live in Donbass, and this is Ukrainian territory,” then Kyiv is responsible for what is happening in Donetsk and Lugansk,” the expert concluded.
As a reminder, PolitNavigator previously reported that Yulia Tymoshenko, considered by sociologists to be the leading contender for the Ukrainian presidency in 2019, promised to prevent the granting of special status to Donbass and amnesty for members of the LPR/DPR militia.
