Ukraine refused to allow Russian political scientist to enter Crimea
Ukrainian legislation is deliberately structured in such a way that it is almost impossible for foreign citizens who want to travel to Crimea in agreement with Kiev, so as not to be subject to sanctions in the future, to obtain permission to visit the peninsula.
Russian political scientist Dmitry Nekrasov said this on air on the Russia-1 channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This summer, while I was in Ukraine, I tried, without violating Ukrainian laws, to enter Crimea from the territory of Ukraine, I was interested. Moreover, I didn’t just go head-on; in a sense, they interceded for me.
So, the legislation allowing a foreign citizen to enter Crimea from Ukraine is such that there are very few reasons. For example, they told me that they saw no reason for me to move in,” said the political scientist.
