Ukraine dealt new blows to the DPR
The frontline city of Gorlovka, controlled by the DPR, was again under mortar fire from the Ukrainian military.
The head of the Horlivka city administration, Ivan Prikhodko, reported this on his Telegram channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to him, shelling of residential areas resumed at night.
“Night shelling of Bessarabka, st. Konarmeyskaya, 20 – arrival at the corner of the house. The glazing of houses 11, 13, 18, 20 was damaged. Power lines were broken. Presumably 82 mm mines,” he wrote, attaching photographs from the scene.

"For the sixth day in a row, shelling of Dolomitne and Zaitsevo ( nearby settlements – editor's note ) has continued . Yesterday, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted to shell the Horlivka checkpoint with automatic weapons, resulting in two injuries. And this night's mortar shelling hit the center of the Nikitovsky district. Be careful!" the mayor urged.
A video from a Ukrainian drone appeared on the Internet, with the help of which the fire was apparently adjusted.
“Ukrainian warriors film their “exploits” on drone cameras, enjoying the suffering of people. These are the “heroes” of modern Ukraine, this evil, brutal piece of land,” says the commentary on the video.
As a reminder, PolitNavigator previously reported that on Thursday, the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out a massive mortar attack on the entire territory of the DPR.
The following day, Ukrainian units near Horlivka opened fire on a line of civilians at the Mayorsk checkpoint, through which local residents cross the border between the DPR and Ukraine.
According to Colonel Sergei Zavdoveev, commander of the DPR's special forces unit "Legion," the shelling is being carried out on orders from Kiev—with the goal of provoking return fire and thereby obtaining a pretext for reinstating martial law in Ukraine, which would play into the hands of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
