Ukraine is preparing to cut off electricity from Donetsk. Akhmetov’s company helps Poroshenko

The head of the Ukrenergo company, Vsevolod Kovalchuk, in a special video message announced the disconnection of Donetsk, following Lugansk, from electricity supplies from Ukraine.

According to Kovalchuk, this will happen as soon as Rinat Akhmetov’s company DTEK completes a new power transmission line to the city of Avdievka, which will not be connected to the supply of light to neighboring Donetsk.

“As for the Donetsk region, now the decision to stop flows has not been made, since the issue regarding the city of Avdievka remains unresolved. In the near future, the DTEK enterprise must complete the construction of a new fragment of the high-voltage line 110 kilovolts, which will provide another source of consumption for the city of Avdievka, and after that the question will arise regarding the continuation or non-continuation of supplies to certain areas of the Donetsk region,” Kovalchuk said.
