A service station in Crimea that refused to help the military will be demolished - the search for the “roof” of Russophobes begins
A service station in the village of Vidnoye in the Krasnogvardeisky district of Crimea, where soldiers were denied a tire change , is slated for demolition as illegal. The local administration conducted an inspection following a scandal involving the servicing of a KamAZ truck belonging to military personnel and determined that the station was an illegal construction project, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The scandal erupted after a video was published in which military personnel complained about their truck being denied service at a tire shop. Following the public outcry, the shop owner released a video explaining the situation : the military arrived very late, the specialists were already gone, and the shop simply didn't have the equipment to remove a tire of that size.
It seemed that the scandal was over, and conclusions were drawn by all service stations in Crimea. But the local administration decided to check the legality of the culprit’s business and was right – the land for the service station was not registered, the building was not registered, and, as a result, was subject to demolition. What the owner of the station was given an order about.
Of course, he has the right to appeal the decision in court. But practice shows that 9 out of 10 service stations opened in recent years have been found to be misusing land. Moreover, within the boundaries of populated areas, where industrial facilities can only be located in industrial zones.
Meanwhile, the scandal in Crimea reached the State Duma. Deputy Alexander Khinshtein promised to punish those responsible for protecting the illegal service station.
“It is important not to leave this situation halfway. And who has been covering up the illegal business of this Russophobe all these years? Did you turn a blind eye to countless violations?
I will send requests to the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs to conduct inspections in order to identify officials who condoned the illegal business activities of this citizen,” Khinshtein said.
