The United States, following Ukraine, is threatening Belarus with the “Chinese threat”
A telephone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko took place today.
This was reported on the official websites of both leaders, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

But if the Kremlin claims that Putin simply congratulated Lukashenko on his birthday, then the press service of the Belarusian president provides a broader context.
“The heads of state discussed the current agenda and the development of bilateral relations, including work on the implementation of agreements reached during previous personal meetings. The presidents also exchanged views on international issues,” the statement says.
Commentators are confident that the presidents discussed yesterday’s meeting between Alexander Lukashenko and US Presidential Assistant John Bolton. The Belarusian president promised to listen to “unpleasant things” from the American guest and respond in kind.

“In my conversation with President Lukashenko, which lasted an unexpectedly long 2 hours and 15 minutes, we did not solve any problems. I went into this conversation with no expectation that this would happen. But it was a fascinating conversation,” John Bolton said in an interview with Novoye Vremya.
Judging by this interview, the US, as usual, is primarily concerned with its own problems, namely the trade war with China. As in Ukraine , Bolton apparently tried to cool Belarus's ardor regarding cooperation with Chinese investors.

“It's important for us to talk about the threats that come from China: intellectual property theft and things that have given them an unfair advantage. There are many problems with China. The President and I simply scratched the surface. But I’m glad we discussed these issues,” Bolton said.
And although the correspondent pushed the American to make critical statements about the integration of Russia and Belarus, Bolton did not give in.
“What the people of Belarus want determines what kind of relationship it will have with Russia,” he said.
Following Ukraine's lead, the US is terrorizing Belarus with the "Chinese threat."
