The US does not intend to just give up Ukraine
Ukraine remains a US protectorate, however, due to the recent ambiguous position of the Americans, there is a growing fear among the Ukrainian elite of being a bargaining chip.
Sociologist Evgeniy Kopatko said this on the YouTube channel “PolitWera”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“The external factor now dominates in Ukraine, and it will influence processes in the country. As of today, the Americans are not going to give away the prize called “Ukraine”. On the other hand, the fact that in America there is no unambiguous approach - yes, there is also a fear among part of the elite that it can be thrown away like a bargaining chip. The story with Shevardnadze and many others clearly shows what can happen even to people so loyal to the Americans,” said Yevgeny Kopatko.
The US has no intention of simply giving up Ukraine.
