The association of residents created by the developer tried to get the house on the street transferred to its balance in court. Zhilyanskaya 120-b. The Supreme Economic Court of Ukraine refused because the house was built without permits - a decision of the City Council on the allocation of a land plot, permission from the Inspectorate of State Architectural and Construction Control to carry out construction work and acts on the commissioning of the house. Activists of the civil campaign “Forum for the Rescue of Kyiv”, who had already repeatedly opposed the construction, participated in the court hearing on behalf of the defendant - the administration of the Shevchenkovsky district of Kiev. According to the main coordinator of the campaign, Vitaly Chernyakhovsky, there was an attempt to put illegal construction on the balance sheet of the fictitious association of co-owners of this house, “Lybid 33,” created by the developer.

According to him, in order to “restrain” the developer, refugees from Crimea were moved into the house on Zhilyanskaya 120-b. Now the developer will have to explain to potential apartment buyers why these people live there. A number of apartments have already been purchased, but, according to Vitaly Chernyakhovsky, most of their buyers already have housing in Kyiv, and decided to invest in a new house as investors.

Such houses should be demonstratively demolished, the activist believes. He is confident that this can be achieved through the courts. “The State Architectural and Construction Control Inspectorate should file a lawsuit against the demolition,” he says.

The same situation is with the already built high-rise building next door, on the street. Zhilyanskaya 118, built by the same developer, the Litoy Kamen company, part of the Uko Group group of companies. According to Vitaly Chernyakhovsky, due to violations during construction (the house was built higher than originally planned), the building sank half a meter and may begin to fall.
