Serbia wants to buy Turkish drones
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic told the media that his country is interested in purchasing Turkish Bayraktar unmanned aerial vehicles, which were used during the conflicts in Syria, Libya and Nagorno-Karabakh.

“We are considering the possibility of buying the Turkish Bayraktar and will see if we can reach an agreement with the Turkish manufacturer,” Vucic said, calling the armed drones among the most advanced.
The Bayraktar unmanned aerial vehicles are manufactured by the Turkish defense company Baykar, owned by Selcuk Bayraktar, the son-in-law of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. In addition to Turkey and Azerbaijan, armed Bayraktar drones are currently also used by Ukraine and Qatar.
The Serbian government bought six Chinese combat drones in July, reportedly making the country the first customer of Chinese drones in Europe.
The strengthening of the Serbian army previously caused concern in the media of the Albanian separatists, who, with the support of the West, tore the region of Kosovo away from Serbia.
