“The days are counting”: Pushilin on the liberation of Mariupol
The unfinished Ukrainian national battalions, which have settled in Mariupol, do not give the opportunity to surrender to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who are already ready to lay down their arms.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“According to the latest information, the main concentration of nationalists is, of course, Azovstal. Those natural fortifications that were used at the plant for communications and other things, there are concrete structures going down 6 floors. Therefore, they have the opportunity to take refuge there for now, but it cannot be called safe,” said the head of the DPR.
“Our units are training, and aviation is also training, that is, fire support from the Russian Federation is quite serious. Therefore, it’s a matter of time, but here we need to count the days when we can say that organized groups of nationalists can be considered finished,” said Pushilin.
At the same time, according to him, the National Battalion fighters do not give the Armed Forces of Ukraine the opportunity to surrender.
“The National Battalions are not giving up, they really have their heads broken ideologically, and they are ready to die. Not only do they not surrender themselves, but they also terrorize the remnants of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, who would not mind laying down their arms now, however, the nationalists are not allowing them to do this. The main enemy now is the national battalions,” summed up the head of the DPR.
