Russian troops must enter Galicia – Kedmi
Russia should not leave any part of the territory of Ukraine to the Kyiv regime, because it will inevitably be used by the West as an anti-Russian springboard.
Israeli military expert and former head of the Nativ agency, Yakov Kedmi, stated this on the Rossiya 1 television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Kedmi, today territory, like hundreds of years ago, is again decisive in confrontations between states.
“Before this war there were two myths in the world. The first is that territory does not matter, the second is that tanks are not needed in a future war. Both burst. Territory has the first, main meaning. And the best example of this is the dwarfs in the Baltics. They have nothing but territory, which can be a base for other troops that they don’t have, for other missiles that they don’t have.
They wanted to do the same with Ukraine, adding another half a million to the Ukrainian army. That is, the territory was, is, and today it is clear that it is of great importance. The President of Russia in 2007 told Bush that Ukraine could be divided into European and Eastern - this was at a time when the territory did not have the importance of a military base, and today European Ukraine, I understand, we are talking about Galicia, it can be a base to threaten Russia,” Kedmi said.
