Political scientist Lev Vershinin, a former deputy of the Odessa City Council, who lives in the European Union, stated this on air on the Roy TV Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Does this mean that Ukraine will immediately stop receiving support, that this program of, well, frankly speaking, the destruction of Russia will immediately be turned off? No. This does not mean. Because Americans, the American Senate is not pro-Russian or anti-Russian. He is pro-American in his entirety.
And at this moment he is anti-Russian by definition. Because Russia is the first stage of the “big lunch”. America needs to “eat up” Russia and Europe in order to gain strength and pump up muscles before the confrontation with China,” the expert said.
