Kyiv, July 01 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) - Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting with foreign ambassadors, expressed surprise at the position of the Ukrainian side, which refuses to fulfill the gas contract signed by Yulia Tymoshenko.
“They are not paying for November and December, although no disputes arose at all... Outright blackmail... An unreasonable reduction in the price of our goods,” Putin said.

“The Kiev court dropped all charges against Tymoshenko, who signed this contract. The Kyiv authorities admitted that everything was done correctly according to Ukrainian law. No, they don’t want to pay for the product they receive,” the Russian president complained.
He commented on the statements of the Ukrainian side that Kyiv will be able to receive gas from Europe.
“There is no reverse. Gas cannot be supplied back and forth through the same pipe. They have done something wrong with some of their partners, who in Europe are not receiving this volume. We see everything, but we don’t take any action so as not to aggravate the situation,” Putin said.
