Rumors about the arson of a radioactive forest in Chernobyl were confirmed

The fire in the radioactive forest in Chernobyl could well have been caused by arson, a representative of the State Emergency Service stated during an emergency briefing, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Yes, indeed, torches were found at the site of the fire. Now the investigative authorities are establishing their identity, and in general, whether they have anything to do with this fire,” said the Ukrainian official, answering a journalist’s question.
