After being wounded, the militia ended up on the street with their families
There are many militiamen in Crimea and mainland Russia who, having been wounded in the Donbass, can no longer return to duty, as well as to their homeland, where they are threatened with criminal prosecution by the Ukrainian authorities.
Militiaman Dmitry Zhukov (call sign “Kedr”), a former resident of Kiev, participant in the defense of Slavyansk, announced this at a press conference in Sevastopol.

“As practice has shown, fighting is easier and simpler than later. After being wounded, many guys are crippled - without arms and legs - and cannot find a job. And they cannot return home to Slavyansk, Kyiv, Kharkov, their homes were under occupation. These people are in the most difficult conditions. This is known to a narrow circle of media and volunteers. This needs to be conveyed.
This task should be carried out by the newly created states - LPR and DPR, or through public organizations in Russia. The militia guys were simple, didn’t have big businesses, left everything, went to fight, got wounded, and now they’re on the street with their families,” Zhukov said.
