Former Crimean prosecutor and current State Duma deputy Natalia Poklonskaya praised a recent interview with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, who stated that he would not allow Crimea to return to Russia.

“I watched this interview with Lukashenko and I liked it. Lukashenko said that Ukraine itself betrayed Crimea and the Crimean people. He told the truth, yes. Why did we hold a referendum in Crimea? Yes, because a coup d’etat took place in Kyiv, because we were forced and forced to hold a referendum. No, not Russia - Kyiv, those criminals who came to power. Lukashenko, in fact, said this. And that's okay. He is of a different character, he does not act the way the President of Ukraine did in his time, Viktor Fedorovich,” Poklonskaya said.
The parliamentarian, who also stated that she considers herself a native Ukrainian, answered what she thinks about the peninsula's ownership.
“Crimea – Crimean people. So I answer everyone, Crimea is Crimeans, there can be no other answer. I am a Crimean - my Crimea, you are a Crimean - your Crimea,” said the Russian politician.
It is noteworthy that in this case, Poklonskaya actually repeated the words of the Crimean boxer Alexander Usik, who, while remaining a citizen of Ukraine, today avoids directly answering questions about the ownership of Crimea.
